Bagpuss - We Will Make it! Through the popular BBC TV shows, the books and more recently the extensive merchandise, thousands of children have been enthralled by Bagpuss, ‘the saggy old cloth cat, baggy and a bit loose at the seams.’
Now the magical cat makes his debut on the PC screen with Bagpuss – We Will Make It, the new release from Europress.
Appearing in this print studio for children from seven upwards are all the favourite characters.
There’s Professor Yaffle, the carved wooden book-end bird who is the brains of the outfit; Madeleine Remnant, the rag doll who sits in a wicker chair and Gabriel Croaker the banjo-playing toad. And of course there are the real stars of the show, the mice and their Marvellous Mechanical Mouse Organ.
Charliemouse, Eddiemouse, Janiemouse, Jenniemouse, Lizziemouse and Williemouse get into everything, singing while they work and it is their well-known words “We will wash it; We will scrub it” that have been adapted by Europress for We Will Make It.
There are hundreds of fun things for children to design on the computer then print out, from greetings cards to posters and decorations. T-shirt designs can be printed out onto transfer paper for ironing onto a T-shirt and stickers are available in a range of sizes using standard Avery sheets. Decorations include cup holders, boxes, models and puppets, simple Origami and a model stage for the puppets and the mouse organ.
